FL – Agency for Health Care Administration Seeks Medicaid Waiver Renewal

The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) recently announced that it is seeking federal authority to renew two Florida Medicaid Waivers.

The proposed extensions hope to renew the Adult Cystic Fibrosis (ACF) Waiver (1915(c)) and the Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injury (TBI/SCI) Waiver (1915(c)) for the period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022.

The 30-day public notice and public comment period will run through March 28, 2017, during which time the Agency will consider all public comments regarding the proposed waiver extension.
